Job summary: This is a test automation engineer position that is responsible for the quality of Agfa’s new Information System to the international market.
Main responsibilities
In a team of developers and testers, you will be responsible for the quality of Agfa’s new Information System to the international market. You will verify the correctness of the applications at a technical level in a team using an agile methodology. You will create and maintain automated tests for regression, integration, and smoke testing. You will contribute to the delivery of high quality software applications in the healthcare industry.

Above all, you are fascinated with the testing of complex and integrated (medical) software systems. You place great importance in an open-minded environment and personal engagement. You are a team player but also able to solve a problem independently. You are interested in the synergy of business functionality and technology.
Required qualifications:
You are a tester or a software engineer with a Bachelor's degree (A1 or higher) in Computer Science Engineering and/or have some years of professional experience in object-oriented programming/testing in Java.

You are assertive, communicative, and well-organized.
You are an independent and disciplined worker who will follow the quality procedures existing in healthcare environment.
You know how to combine flexibility with a positive and quality-oriented attitude.
Technical knowledge:
Experience with test automation tools (e.g. TestComplete, Jemmy…) and unit testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit) is a real advantage.
Working experience in Java-based environments (like J2EE, Maven, JBoss) as well as knowledge of continuous build system (e.g. CruiseControl, Hudson…) is appreciated.
Basic experience with SQL is needed.
