接着上一次的,这次是Test Administration下面的第二个主题:Test Supervision。这个主题内容最多,所以分为了两次,还没有写完。下次继续这个主题。
Test supervision includes four approaches:
1) Communication Skills
There are four categories of communication skills:
a. Written and oral communication
In this part, the emphasis is how to make an oral presentation. And there are three
main parts to the presentation:
1. Preparing the proposal
2. Presenting the proposal
3. Closing the proposal
b. Listening skills
There are three steps involved in the listening skills:
1. Hearing the speaker
2. Attending to the speaker
3. Understanding the speaker
c. Interview skills
1. The primary purpose of interview is fact-finding
2. The second purpose is convey information
Other points:
Fact- some attribute of a condition of an event should be
Finding – Identify a difference between what is and what should be
Document a finding: Fact, Cause and Significance (impact, important)
d. Analyzing skills
1. Analysis is a part of the job and the value of recommendation is based on
analysis.
2. Problems + Analysis = Recommendation
3. There are four methods used for analysis:
1) Arrangement of facts and ideas
2) Analogy – compare with other situations
3) Logic – inductive and deductive
4) Principles – Practices and policy

总结一下:测试管理下面的一个重要的方法之一的Communication。沟通是一个管理上最重要的单一技能。沟通又分为了4个部分:书面和口头沟通,倾听技巧,面试或者面谈技巧以及分析技能。第一个部分重点描述了如何做一个presentation;倾听技巧描述了倾听的三个步骤;面试或者面谈主要是描述了Fact和Findings;分析技能的四个方法。内容比较多,暂时只是读了一遍,如果要详细了解,可能在读第二遍的时候细化。
