Database benchmark tool - DBHammer

DBHammer is a modular, simple, and quick database benchmarking tool. It relies on interchangable shared objects to connect to and communicate with the backend database. All data placed into the database is created using pseudo random techniques.

dbhammer is a project i wrote to hit a database as hard as possible continuously. After looking at the tpcc way of doing things, I re-wrote dbhammer to follow a similar idea as the tpcc spec... eventually I hopefully will implement a full tpcc suite (in fact you'll find some code in there for supporting it). The dbhammer now uses a completely different method for hammering a database which is more reproducable (so long as you give the hammer enough time to reach a steady state process).. currently supports the following modules: mysql, postgres, libsdb, a pipe modules and a stdout module.51Testing软件测试网sSH9j(w/Vy.DrG

This code is currently still alpha! And if your wondering why my effort on this module has stalled significantly, i was working on making dbhammer tpcc compliant when someone brang out a gnu project which made a tpcc db test suite!!!
