When to perform a Re-Scan after making changes to the Scan Configuration

| Upon making changes to the scan configuration after a explore phase, is it necessary to do a full Re-Scan? |

| Answer |
Most changes to the scan configuration will require a full Re-Scan of the application. The only changes that will not require a full Re-Scan is:
- Changing the Numbers of Threads (Scan Configuration > Communication and Proxy)
- Changing the Timeout (Scan Configuration > Communication and Proxy)
- Changing the Login Sequence (Scan Configuration > Login Management)
- Adding a Custom Error Page (Scan Configuration > Error Pages)
- Adding Exclusions (Scan Configuration > Exclude Paths and Files)
Any other changes will require a full Re-Scan to take affect.
To re-run a scan or scan stage:
- On the Scan menu, click Re-Scan and then click an option from the sub-menu: Full Scan, Explore, or Test.
