Position : Assistant Manager - Quality
Educational Qualifications: Engineering/MCA/MBA equivalent
Experience Level: Minimum 5 years work experience with at least 3.5 years in quality assurance role in IT environment.
Requirements:
The selected person would play the role of software quality assurance specialist for a group of projects. This includes
(a) overall ownership ofquality assuranceandprocess improvementsin a center
(b) helping the project manager to define the process requirements
(c) conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance against Aricent QMS processes
(d) collecting and analyzing project level metrics
(e) making presentations to senior management and customer on a periodic basis, on the quality trend for the project
(f) providing trainings on various quality concepts and processes
(g) participate in organizational and program/project improvement activities.
(h) leading anycertification audit activityprior to external audit by an external agency.
Skills:
(a) Ability to understand business of Company and connect Quality issues with it
(b) Working knowledge on Agile methodology
(c) Implementation knowledge of basic statistical techniques
(d) Excellent written and oral communication skills
(e) Presentation skills
(f) Documenting processes
(g) Working knowledgeof TL9000/ISO9001, CMMI (upto level 5), ISMS (ISO 27001)
(h) Working knowledge of creating reports on Excel with basic macros
Desirable skills:
(a) Usage of statistical tools like Minitab/Crystal ball
(b) Personal work experience in a CMMI assessed company
(c) Handling quality assurance activities in large accounts or business unit
(d) Facilitating customer audits
(e) Leading any certification audit activity prior to external
(f) Ability to do macro programming in MS Office/VB Scripts
(g) Certificationslike PMP, Agile Scrum Master, etc.
