急！美资光通信企业Product Manager – Dispersion Compensation-------深圳/上海

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Detailed understanding and management of product line financials, including revenue, profit margins, overhead expenses, excess and obsolete inventory, etc. 
- Manage their section of the business on a day to day basis with responsibility for all Profit and Loss drivers. 
- The role is inwardly focused, managing the business day to day, but not exclusively so. There will be Customer interaction (largely with the business and Supply chain groups within our Customers) in order that they can support the Customer Solutions team, set revenue and pricing targets, and drive business growth. 
- The key interfaces with be 
1.Engineering/Ops leaders day to day 
2. Development 
3. Sales 
4. Customer Solutions 
5. Strategic Marketing 
- Developing near term sales volume forecasts. 
- Ensuring the development of the right products on time. 
- Developing and maintaining a business plan for each product to include a view of all development costs and capital investments, forecast revenue and profitability. 
- Driving design-related Cost Reduction Plans. 
- Developing basis for Pricing Strategy. 
- Serves as the central resource with the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. 
- Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product and product line. 
- Familiarity with optical dispersion compensation technologies or fiber optic communication transmission applications strongly desired, particularly for high speed (40G) networks. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
- Degree in Optics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductors or equivalent technical discipline from an accredited college or university. 
- 8 years or more relevant working experience in a related position. At least one year working in a similar role and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 
- An advanced degree (MBA or technical Masters) is desirable. 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS 
- This position requires an expert understanding of optical communication systems, optical networking and/or of optical components/devices and their design. This position requires the ability to apply knowledge from other products, processes and applications to the problem in hand.
