RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking lead on SVT activities in Shanghai site;
- Develop and execute software/firmware test plans;
- Perform software design verification test, and implement automation test tools for Oclaro's optical components;
- Generate and maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software/ firmware;
- Responsible for determining the best way a test can be performed in order to achieve 100% test coverage of all components using different test process;
- Works with cross functional teams on optics and electronics to interpret and generate test cases, works closely with other software and hardware engineers in remote sites to alter or develop suitable solutions;
- Software maintenance work, problem identify and verification.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSEE or related degree (EE or CS), MS Preferred;
- Working knowledge of hardware, software engineering and testing;
- Experience in lab bench debugging tools oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and so on;
- Above 2 years experience in software testing is preferred;
- Development experience in C, C++, C# or Python is preferred;
- Good Command of English (reading, writing and speaking);
- Be a good team player and can communicate effectively with peers;
- Knowledge and experience in unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, system testing, and regression testing (which is often automated);
- Hardware knowledge and practice for better assisting in firmware and hardware debugging;
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Generate and maintain documentation ability.
