Position: DSP System Engineer (Shenzhen)
Job Description:
1. Participate in the firmware development of WCDMA base station.
2. Participate in the continuous development and improvement of firmware, including implementing new relevant 3GP CRs, HSDPA, and HSUPA, Rel7 and Rel8.
3. Actively anticipate in modem performance enhancements, memory and MIPS optimization.
4. Participate in system integration, verification, debugging and test of WCDMA and LTE standards.
5. Support interoperability (IOT) and live network testing. It will require performing analysis of the problem scenarios and generating efficient solutions. In addition, it may also require travel to the IOT lab or location of live network testing.
6. Participate in conformance testing of mobile platform. using in-house test equipment and at official test houses.
Experience Required:
1. Typically requires a BS degree and 5 years of experience plus required training, or an MS and 2 years of experience plus required training.
2. Must have 5+ years C coding experience
3. Must have 3+ years industry experience on Firmware or DSP development
4. Strong experience on WCDMA, HSDPA/HSUPA. Understanding of HSPA+ is a plus.
5. Knowledge of ARM microprocessor and RTOS is essential.
6. Past experience with software development for embedded systems is required.
7. Knowledge of mobile communications test equipment is desired.
8. Must have excellent communication skill and proficiency in written and oral English.
