Senior QA Engineer
Job Descriptions
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Software QA Engineer to help testing the cutting-edge SOA products. The individual will work together with your QA team inBeijingoffice, work directly with the QA managers and development teams in theU.S.headquarter.
Your main responsibilities include:
Reproduce and identify specific issues related the products, file and trace the bugs, and verify the developer’s fixes.
Design, implement and improve test cases to cover various aspects of the products.
Automate the test cases through writing various scripts and tools.
Provide technical support to customer reported issues and other team’s requirements.
Training and guide the trainee interns/Junior QAs work
Communicate with QA Manager in theU.S.headquarter weekly, report the working progress, issues and solutions.

Required Skills
Web Services
Solid knowledge and experience onSOA products
Understanding of web services and associated protocols/standards/specifications:
SOA/SCA specifications
SOAP
WSDL
XSLT

Java
Solid Java and OO programming skills is required. Development experience is a plus.
OS
Be familiar with UNIX/Linux/Windows
Hands-on ability to install/debug/trouble-shootings.
Scripting for UNIX/Linux/Windows.
UNIX/Linux System Admin skills is a plus.
Database
Knowledge and experience on at least one database as below:
Oracle

Tools and utilities
Experience on JUnit, Hudson and iTKO Lisa is a big plus.
Experience on Defect Management System.
QA
Qualified Candidate should be familiar with software engineering processes and software lifetime cycles.
Qualified Candidate should have proven QA experience in testing large scale commercial software.
Ability to independently work, including research related technologies, analyze complex problems, and try different approaches to reach resolutions, is very import to this position.
Ability to lead/guide junior engineers and work with other senior engineers together.
Other characteristics
Qualified Candidate should have strong desire to find issues.
Qualified Candidate should work in a fast-pace group, he/she could under pressure of multiple tasks with short deadline limits.
Qualified Candidate could work overtime when the deadline is approaching.
English
Qualified candidate should be fluent in English communications, in both reading and writing as well as in listening and speaking.
Qualified candidate should be able to communicate with native English speakers without any problem (face to face or via telephone).
Education
At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
Working Experience
At least 3 years working experience in related areas as a QA Engineer.
