2. Enable ssh on ESXI serveresxi作为一个
精简版的esx,把ssh给默认关闭了,控制台也感觉专业了很多,可以使用下面方法打开ssh服务。
You have to have
direct access to console
1.) While you are at the console hit ALT +
F1
2.) Type in ” unsupported ” and hit Enter
3.) Go ahead and type
the root password
4.) Go and edit the /etc/inetd.conf file
5.)
Uncoment the line where you can see “#ssh” (line 32). Remove the “#”
mark at the begining.
6.) Type “ps -a |grep inetd”
7.) Kill the
process
8.) start inetd
3. Install Vsphere client and connect to EXSI server:download the install image from VMWare website and install the ESXI.
4. Configure Licence on vSphere client Input license key
5. create virtual machine on vSphere client6. Upload OS image to ESXI server with data store browser. a. Logon vSphere client.
b. Select the ESXI server.
c. Click "Summary"(摘要),check the datastore.
d. select the datastore and choose "Browser Datastore", the panel to upload image will appear.
7. Install OS:Set startup order from BIOS
We can connect to iso or other resource from the tool bar.
Edit the startup order in BIOS and save the settings, then install os.
