test case ideal for performance testing has a prime aim of establishing the level of performance delivered by the present system. The gathered information is helpful in doing benchmarking in future. Every test case related to the performance requirements essentially describes all inputs to the system as well as all outputs expected from the system.

At the time of designing the performance test cases, following important factors are given adequate consideration:
