When the application performs the same oprations with multiple sets of data, you should use the parameters.

--Notice the location in Data Table: Global sheet and Current action sheet.

 

You can also retrieve data from application and output it to the Data Table, using output values. you should create an Output Values

FE, you can use an Output Values to verfiy that the data is displayed in differents Web pages.

 

Dividing test into multiple actions

1. Record a complete action that includs many pieces(actions).

2. Divid it into many actions.

3. Perhaps you need record external actions(another step) into current actions. you should change the Run Setting, In the Web tab, selectRecord and run test on any open browser.

4. Set some actions asreusable actions.

Inserting Existing Actions

1. Choose Insert > Call to Existing Action. PS: according to this oprations, only reusable actions are displayed in the Select Action dialog box.

--the actions call you inserted are read-only, to modify them, you must open the original.

2. Choose Insert > Call a copy of Action. PS: as you create a new action.

 

Comment:

When a test includs several actions, the pieces can be understood as a local veriables. so you must chage Action Call Properties, selectRun on all rows.
