FitNesse user control

1.    Using command line to add user and user password:

           D:\fitnesse>java -cp fitnesse.jar fitnesse.authentication.Password -f password.txt -c           fitnesse.authentication.HashingCipher Sophia

           (‘D:\fitnesse>’ is FitNesse’s setup directory)

2.      When the user is added successfully, a password.txt file will be created under FitNesse’s root directory.

3.      Start FitNesse using ordinary mode:

           D:\FitNesse>run –p 8080

4.      Change the pages that you want to use user control

           In the intent page, click the properties button on the left panel. In the properties page, togglethe checkbox before- secure-read/ - secure-write/ - secure-test, and click save

5.      Start FitNesse using authentication mode

           D:\fitNesse>run –p 8080 –a password.txt

           After restarting the server, you’ll see a pop-up dialogue box that reminds you to input your  user name and password after you click the controlled page.
