From the different point of view,the testing activities can be divided into different categories. We will compare to the testing methods from the three primary classifications
~ aQ!h/~X0 First of all, it is the comparison between the White Box Testing and Black Box Testing, mainly from the basis of ,the extent of coverage, the cost of solving the problem . Firtly,White Box Testing based on the internal structure of the software; And black box testing based on requirements specification but it is not considering internal realization. Secondly White Box can guarantee internal logic structure and reaches a certain level of coverage, So the software code can give better quality assurance; Black-box testing cann't control the internal implementation of the road,so there wouldn't be a lot of internal procedures paths observed. Thirdly,White Box Testing input a lot of costs , But as the tests conducted so early , to solve the problem is lower cost when the problems are identified; But Black-box Testing is often in the development of later-stage So to solve the problem is the high cost when problems are identified .51Testing软件测试网L:n:S9ZZd w
The second comparison is between dynamic testing and static testing, the main difference between the two tests is whether the system of the software tested is running when testing, Second difference is the testing technology and testing different aspects. Static Testing have not operate the system software and dynamic testing is just the opposite when testing. Static testing are used in the static analysis techniques commonly and used both automaticree and manual means to test the descrīption of the software system, expression and specifications on the consistency and accuracy of detection; Dynamic testing in general use dynamic analysis techniques and tools to analyze the operating system software acts.51Testing软件测试网

Finally the comparison is between manual testing and automated testing . Manual Testing is manual completed the test, and automated testing by computer simulation carried out manually. But we need to emphasize: first, the two testing methods applied in different stages of testing and indispensable; Secondly, automated testing is not only automatically but also automatic comparison. Third, automated testing is very limited.
